The Tukor’s Journey school visits have begun, and they have been so much fun! Groveland Elementary in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Another at Turtle Lake Elementary and next up St. John Vianney School in Fairmont, Minnesota. It has been so wonderful to talk about storytelling with the students. We have a great time together. The students learn about the many amazing places around the world that are in The Tukor’s Journey like China’s White Water Terraces and Rainbow Mountains, and the unusually blue lake of the Maly Semyachik volcanic crater, and the Bosavi Crater in Papua New Guinea and many more. And they learn about some of the wonderful animals in The Tukor’s Journey like the silky cuscus, the woolly rat, the extinct Haast eagle, the world’s largest owl the Blakiston fish owl.
More importantly, the students and I talk about the themes of The Tukor’s Journey, how we all have a powerful story – our own! We are all storytellers. We all have a unique path and a special mission in life. Our journey is a powerful one and it follows us, until we follow it. We write our own story as we journey through life.
